How to write an apprenticeship cover letter

The aim of a cover letter is to persuade the company you are applying to, to read your CV, and then eventually invite you to meet with them face-to-face for an interview. Don’t overload your cover letter with too much information. A cover letter is about tempting the company, so that they feel forced to read your CV. Modern apprenticeships are professional work schemes which are designed for school and college leavers. Your apprenticeship will consist of a combination of real-work within a company or industry, whilst you are studying towards professional qualifications.
