Buckinghamshire New University
Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) has been delivering employment and professional focussed education since 1891 and today operates across 3 campuses located in High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Uxbridge. The University offers apprenticeships in health, care, social work, leadership, digital & technology, engineering and policing and new programmes will be launched in 2024.
All programmes are delivered flexibility which means that learning takes place in person, online and utilising digital learning resources accessible through smart phone, tablet or laptops. Whilst on campus, apprentices benefit from specialist simulation and technical equipment along with the services and facilities of a modern campus including access to a fully equipped gym at the High Wycombe campus.
BNU is proud of its inclusive and welcoming community where every individual can feel comfortable being themselves. Specialist support is available to apprentices returning to learn after a gap in their education, for those with neurodiverse or specific learning difficulties and those that are new to academic study. The flexible approach means that apprentices can access learning resources around work, caregiving or other responsibilities whilst minimising travel time, cost and carbon impacts.
