As part of the GBSLEP Growth Hub, the Skills Hub has a distinct mission, to work with businesses to understand their training and skills needs and assist them in finding the right provision to support their training requirements.

Our Apprenticeship Advisers and Skills Brokers support employers one-on-one, to design and develop bespoke plans for training and recruitment, bringing all the expertise and support services that are available into one place. All our regional employers can have their training needs analysed to create a unique skills plan that will identify appropriate programmes and provision in a focused package of support to meet your business needs.

We also help employers to navigate Government initiatives, including Plan for Jobs, apprenticeship grants and traineeships, ensuring the businesses we work with are able to access all the incentives available to them to support job creation and training opportunities.
