ITEC Skills and Employment

Itec has been a pioneering provider of work-based learning programmes for four decades. In February 2019, Itec Training Solutions Holdings Limited transitioned to an employee-owned model, becoming the first Welsh independent training provider to do so, with 100% ownership by its employees.

As one of the largest and most vocationally diverse work-based learning providers, Itec holds Welsh Government contracts for Apprenticeships and Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+). In England, Itec manages ESFA contracts for Apprenticeships. The company’s strategic expansion included acquiring The Centre for Strategy and Communication in 2014, broadening its commercial training offerings across the UK and globally. The 2021 merger of Itec Training Solutions Limited with the Centre for Strategy and Communication strengthened the brand and unified the business operations.

Itec’s mission is to transform lives by fostering self-belief, motivation, and career progression. The company helps individuals find employment, advance their careers, gain new qualifications and skills, and even start their own businesses. Itec supports high-growth organisations in the private, public, and charity sectors, enabling them to innovate and achieve their goals.

Apprenticeships at Itec offer work-based learning that combines professional skill development with nationally recognised qualifications at levels 2-5, all while earning a salary. These programmes adhere to a National Framework, ensuring comprehensive skill acquisition and competency in various industries. Additionally, Job Growth Wales+ provides essential skills and experience for securing employment, progressing into an Apprenticeship, or further education, with robust support for participants’ health and wellbeing –https://www.itecskills.ac.uk/
