Olmec is an award-winning, Black-led race equality organisation working to advance racial equality through economic and social justice. Our work is for people from racialised communities of all backgrounds, including Black, Asian and other minoritised ethnic communities.

For more than 20 years, we have worked with individuals, communities, employers, local authorities, housing associations, social enterprises and other organisations to create opportunities, develop leadership and tackle racial inequalities and barriers to progression.

Olmec builds power through leadership development, economic opportunity, community heritage and collective action.
Our programmes support people into work, enterprise, leadership and board-level roles, while helping organisations create more inclusive and equitable workplaces and communities.

Through Groundings: Work, Wealth & Leadership, we support people from racialised communities to access good work, develop enterprise, progress in their careers and build economic confidence.

Our free monthly Groundings Resource Guide brings together opportunities around employment, apprenticeships, training, funding and community support, making useful opportunities easier to find and helping people take their next step.

We also work with employers, training providers and other organisations interested in widening opportunity, reaching diverse communities and addressing racial inequalities in employment and progression.

At the National Apprenticeship & Education Event, we would love to meet people looking for their next opportunity, as well as employers, apprenticeship providers and organisations interested in collaborating with us.

Visit the Olmec stand to find out more and join the Groundings community.
