The Open University

For over 55 years, The Open University in Wales has been opening up education to all. We work across Wales to help employers address skills gaps by giving local people the education they need to boost their careers.

Open University learning is flexible, fitting around work and personal commitments. Alongside our degree programmes, our offering includes our degree apprenticeship in Applied Software Engineering, which blends academic study with practical, work-based learning. Fully funded by the Welsh Government and with no prior qualifications needed, this is a perfect option for both experienced and aspiring computing professionals.
